POOVELLAM KETTUPPAR



Poovellam Kettuppar was Suria's 5th movie. It was directed by Vasanth and produced by Subbu Panchu Arunachalam. Movie was released in 6 August 1999.

 STORYLINE

 Bharathi and Kannan are music directors. But they got separated due to some misunderstandings. Bharathi became a very success full musician and Kannan became a failure. Janaki is kannan's daughter.She is living in Banglore. One day she went to a tour.There she met Krishna(Surya) and krishna fall in love with her. But she avoided his proposal. At the end of the tour she failed to catch the tour bus due to her late arrival.Krishn saw that. Krishna and Janaki were get into a car.The car driver was drunk guy who can't control his car. So Krishna starts driving the car. During the journey Jnaki tells that bshe is starving. They went to a hotel and Krishna said that Janaki is his wife and she is pregnent.That time the drunken driver went off. Jnaki later tried to stop a bus by acting like a pregnant lady. On their bus journey they realizes who is other's father and got shocked. Janaki went back to her college. But they admit their love to each others. Krishnas's mother got hospitalized.Krishna went to see his mother.He swear that he will tell to his parents about his love towards Janaki. But Janaki tells that she wont elope with him without her parents permission. He agrees. After few days,Krishna and Janaki decided that they must gain other's parent's impression.For that Krishna went to Janaki's house as a driver and Janaki went to Krishna's house as a nurse. After lots of unexpected incidents Krishna and Janaki got married.

PERIYANNA


Periyanna was actor Suria's 4th movie. Periyanna was released in 14 April 1999. Film was directed by S.A.Chandrasekhar and produced by Jaya and S.K.Subbiah in the banner Jaya Subhashree Productions. This movie was a box office failure.

 STORYLINE
Surya got imprisoned for killing his enemies who murdered his family. That time a District Collectors daughters birthdays was celebrated there. Surya sings in that event. Collectors daughter got impressed with Suria's talent in singing. She started learning music from Surya with her father's permission. Gradually they fall in love. they elope due to the opposition from girl's family and police department. They went to a small town. Unfortunately they could see a murder of a collector in the railway station. The murderer was the chief of that village. But that village chief was a good person . He help them to marry. But the girl's father could separate them using the legal system.

SANDHIPPOMA

Sandhippoma was suria's third movie. It was directed by T.Indrakumar and produced by J.Vijayan, S Raja and R.B.Choudhary. Sandhippoma was released in 9 July 1998.This romantic Tamil movie was a box office failure.

The music director of  Sandhippoma was Deva. The lyrics were written by Vairamuthu, Ponniyin Sevan, Palanibharathi and Kalidasan.




 STORYLINE
Surya act as Viswa and Preetha act as Nilani.Viswa and Nilani are in love. But Nilani's mother is against to her love. But they didnt give any consideration tpo their parent's disapproval. They goes along with their relationship. Story goes very complicated when Viswa exhibit some fashion photos of Nilani. Which makes Nilani's mother very upset. Prakash Raj act as Surya's father in this story.He has an affair, which makes their life and as well as the story very complicated and which results a tragic end to the film. At the climax Preetha went to abroad. Her parents couldnt stop her from flying.She committed suicide due to love failure. By hearing this Viswa became mad.

KAADHALE NIMMADHI


Kaadhale Nimmadhi was actor Suria's second movie. It was released in 14 January 1998. It was a romance oriented story directed by Indiran and produced by Sivasakthi Pandian. The movie was a box office failure.

STORYLINE

Murali was a lawyer. Nasar's sister Kavitha got engaged to Murali.An unexpected incident happened  which causes an unpredictable twist in the story. Kavitha was plays with daughter of Nassar by giving flying kisses to the girl. Surya plays the role of an archaeologist. Surya was taking some photos there while Kavitha playing with the child. Accidently Nassar came there and see that surya is taking photos. He misunderstood that Surya is taking photos of Kavitha. He starts beating him without considering Kavitha's claim of innocence.The rest is best seen on the screen....

NERUKKU NER



Nerukku Ner was actor Surya's first movie.He started his acting career with actor Vijay. This movie was released in Sept 1997. Nerukku Ner was directed by Vasanth and produced by Madras Talkies.The songs were composed by Deva.

STORYLINE
Raghuvaran, an officer in passport office tells his wife shanthi that he got cheated by his office guy when he was in Goa. By hearing this Shanthi got angry and she went to her mother's house Raghuvaran could not stop her. Surya is Shanthi's brother and Vijay is Raghuvaran's brother. They met in a movie theater.Vijay tells that Shanthi is the problem maker and she must apologize. But Surya couldnt agree with that. He tells something against Raghuvaran.This talk causes a fight between Surya and Vijay. Both these guys have lovers.Vijay has Kausalya and Surya has Simaran as pairs.
 One day Raghuvaran saw a bundle of money in his table. That was by Karan,an MLA wanted by the police. Actually Karan was seeking for a fake passport to escape from Police,that ia why he put that money in Raghuvaran's table. But Raghuvaran didnt agree to make a fake one. This decision makes Karan angry.
Raghuvaran and Shanthi applied for divorce. They have a child named Sona. One day they lost her when she went for shopping with Surya. Unfortunately Sona falls from a wheel and soon admitted in the hospital with the help of Vijay,but she lost her hearing ability. Shanthi and Surya complained in police that her child is missing and come to Raghu's house with Police to bring back Sona. But the girl was actually kidnapped by Karan. For the rescue of Sona both Surya and Vijay joins and they bring back Sona from Karan's hands.
